Email + password, passkeys, Google sign-in, guest sessions, and account security.
dbot needs you to be signed in. You can use a passkey, your email and password, or Google, whichever you've set up.
A passkey lets you sign in with your device's fingerprint, face, or screen lock instead of a password. On the sign-in screen, tap the email field and your browser offers any passkey you've saved for dbot. You can also hit the passkey button to start the prompt yourself.
To add one, open your security settings and create a passkey. You can register more than one (your laptop, your phone, a hardware key) and remove any you don't use anymore.
Signing in with a password takes two steps: enter your email, then your password. If you don't have a password yet, maybe you've only ever used Google, you can set one in your security settings.
You can also continue with Google. The first time, Google asks you to confirm that you're sharing your basic profile and email with dbot. After that it signs you straight in.
Open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar to sign out, check how many reports you have left, or open Settings. Your account details and sign-in options (passkeys, password, connected accounts) all live in your security settings.
