Read your results
Invite people by email or turn on a public link, and manage who can open a report.
A finished report is yours to keep private or share. From the report page you can invite specific people by email, or turn on a public link that anyone can open. Both options live behind the Share button, and both work only once a report has finished running.
Open one of your completed reports and click Share in the header, next to the report's date and ID. The Share button only appears on reports you own. Collaborators viewing a report you shared with them won't see it.
The dialog has two parts: People (invite by email) and Public link (anyone with the link).
Under People, type someone's email address and click Share. They're added to the list below as Invited, and you can keep adding more.
What happens next depends on whether they already use dbot:
People you invite can view and download the report: the PDF, the Excel model, and the charts. They can't edit it, re-run it, or share it with anyone else.
The list always shows invitees as Invited. dbot never reveals whether an email already has an account, so you can share freely without leaking who's signed up.
To remove someone, click the trash icon next to their email. Their access is revoked right away.
Switch Public link on to create a link anyone can open. No dbot account or sign-in is required. Copy it with the button next to the link and share it however you like.
A public link shows a clean, read-only version of the report. It leaves out your account details, costs, and anything internal: just the valuation and the write-up, with an invitation for the reader to build their own.
Switch the link off and it stops working for everyone immediately. If you turn it back on later, dbot creates a brand-new link. The old one stays dead. Download links that were already open may keep working for up to 15 minutes.
Reports other people share with you live under Reports → Shared with me, kept separate from the ones you've run yourself. You can open, read, and download them just like the person who shared them. They don't touch your report balance, and you can't re-run them.
