What dbot does, who it is for, and how to read these docs.
dbot is an AI valuation analyst. You give it a company and a point of view, and it does what an analyst would do: it researches the business, builds an intrinsic valuation the way Aswath Damodaran teaches it, pressure-tests the assumptions, and writes the whole thing up. You end up with a report, the charts behind it, a spreadsheet model, and a PDF.
dbot is built on one of Damodaran's core ideas. A valuation is a story about a business, kept honest by numbers. You bring the story (your view of where the company is headed), and dbot turns it into the handful of value drivers that actually move the answer, like growth, margins, reinvestment, and risk. Then it checks that the numbers still hang together.
Every analysis gives you a researched brief with citations, a discounted-cash-flow or dividend-discount valuation with a fair-value estimate, a sensitivity range, the charts, an Excel model you can edit, and a written report you can actually read.
dbot estimates what a company is worth and shows how it got there. It won't tell you to buy or sell. Every report ends with a few specific things to watch so you can make your own call.
